An ardent practitioner of mindfulness for over 40 years who had the opportunity to practice under Sayadaw U Tejaniya's guidance since 2006 with much more clarity of how the mind works, Hor Tuck Loon was inspired to bring the teaching to many others.
Starting out with a small community, Tuck Loon has been passionately sharing a multi-angle approach to mindfulness, and offers participants a unique path to unravel the workings of our own minds.
His style of pointing and sharing provokes reflection and discussion through various courses, workshops and retreats. Using mindfulness+wisdom as a tool, he skillfully guides participants into understanding how recognizing the mechanics of the mind brings about freedom, peace and release from mental stress, no matter which level they are at.
Tuck Loon has since 2016 been invited to conduct talks, workshops and retreats regularly in Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Turkey and Vietnam. His weekly online sessions have reached a much broader audience from Australia, the U.K, U.S and elsewhere during the 2020 global pandemic, which has in turn helped many find refuge during a challenging period.
With his passion to bring the right mindfulness teaching to more people, Hor Tuck Loon has also participated in publication works, such as “Letting Everything Become Your Teacher” and “Arriving At Your Own Door” (Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn), and Sayadaw U Tejaniya's series “Don’t look down on defilement”, “Awareness alone is not enough” and “Dhamma everywhere”.

Starting off with various meditation teachers since her 20s in her quest for meanings of life, Lai Fun eventually found Sayadaw U Tejaniya, whose teaching resonated with her curiosity toward the workings of the mind and gave her in-depth realizations of how views were running her life. From seeking but not finding peace, to simply lightly checking what was present and what was unknown, her approach to meditation shifted, and so was her life.
Leaving the corporate world behind, she joined Tuck Loon in sharing mindfulness through various workshops and retreats since 2006 across Malaysia, China and Hong Kong. Being a practitioner herself, with more and more understanding and growth over the years, she has been able to share from her own life and practice experiences how meditation helps unravel the errors within each mind.
Lai Fun has a practical and direct approach to gently guiding participants to recognize blind spots with honesty and fine-tune their practice, which in turn gives rise to much more easeful and peaceful living. In this aspect, she makes a perfect complement to her co-trainers, Tuck Loon & Boon Ling, at WISE Foundation.
Many participants have since benefited from her sharing, and are able to take on the practice in their daily living with much more clarity and consistency.

本名梁兴祥,从事环保的小生意。踏上禅修观察心的这一条路是因为早期患上轻微的抑郁,心充满恐惧、没有信心,想寻找方法让自己平静。有一天,遇上了一位大学生介绍我去禅修,初接触观察腹部起伏,修练了一段时期,因为有很多问题发问,有人又引荐了何德麟老师。就在 2006 年,陈老师带我去了缅甸跟德加尼亚禅师学习。第一天到抵达,陈老师又邀问想不想尝试短期出家,就这样的因缘短期出家了大概两周多。
第一次托钵时,就发现手脚的移动其实是由动机所驱使而引起修行的兴趣。对法越来越理解,知道它的好处就更精进地修行。后来由于跟何老师到中国听他分享法,就生起对法更多的理解而想要出来分享。受到何老师的鼓励也不断观心,以正确的态度,克服了对分享的怯场,法的分享到如今也已经进行了一年多。非常感恩我的老师,也感谢大家,感恩有法。
Boon Ling has been a corporate trainer for over 2 decades specialising in the areas of Train-the-Trainer, Compassionate Communication, Interpersonal Skills, Coaching, Anger Management, Competency Standards Development, Workplace Assessment and Curriculum Development.
She holds an MBA from University of South Australia and a Bachelors of Social Science from USM. She also has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from South Australia. She has exposure to various learning approaches like Competency Based Training and Education, Neuro Semantics NLP and Accelerated learning, Kinesiology and has incorporated these approaches into helping learners learn in an effective and fun way.
She has spoken at event and organisations like the Philippines Health & Wellness Conference, IEM Malaysia Evening Talks series, Monash Sunway Campus Student Enrichment Program and Student Society in International Medical University.
Her passion has always been to train and develop people as she has a firm belief about creating upward spirals in people’s lives. In all her endeavours, she also advocates taking responsibility and understanding the mind to experience personal happiness and effectiveness.
