Waking Up to Sunday — Pointing Meditation
Day: Every Sunday (so long as no courses, workshop or retreat coincides with it)
Time: 6.00am – 7.30am
Venue: WISE Sanctuary and/or via ZOOM
Although Sunday is the time of the week where you can take a longer rest where work concerns are being put aside, why not consider waking up to a wonderful meditative journey where you will understand your mind a little better. Your quality of life is directly related to the quality of your mind. Join us in this weekly Pointing Meditation where you will be guided skilfully to explore your mindscape directly which may lead you to an "aha" never known before.
Have you ever tried seeing yourself sincerely and honestly? Maybe, the closest way is through a mirror. However, that is only a reflection of your physical body! To truly see who or what you are, you need to seek and explore internally. Then you will be surprised by what you may find - a gem in the rubble. But you will need to face the rubble first, to discover the gem within. Through love and patience, you will acquire the true gift of wisdom. Join us and let us practice together to come closer to the gem.
“Even though many a time the mind is unpleasant, stay with it a little bit longer, patiently. Just notice the unpleasant state is the defilement called aversion — nature taking place.”
