Purpose

If experience is just an experience
If there is only pleasant, unpleasant and neutral experiences
Chasing after them again and again
What is it for?

If desires cannot be fulfilled
Like a bottomless bucket
Like an insatiable beast
Going after them again and again
What is it for?

If having more brings more attachment
Having more and more of them
Not able to let go of them every now and then
What is it for?

If nothing is not is governed by causes and conditions
Wanting them to be
My way
Not your way
In a certain way
What is it for?

No matter how much we make sure things to be in a certain way
Still there is no surety
What is it for?

Nothing does not decay
The Path offer offers me a way
I give a leap of faith
To what forgiveness has to say

Every encounter
Every event
Every happening
Every person
Perceived correctly
Is an opportunity to heal

Let me not forget my purpose
Let me remember my function
Life in essence
Has no purpose
Choosing that way of seeing
What is without purpose
Is given one
With forgiveness

Let me then be still and listen to the truth
And I seek but what belongs to me in truth
For Truth will correct all errors in my mind
With that I rest in Nature today
